Why is In-Field Barcode Creation Needed?

There are circumstances where jobs are created for collection, yet the barcode or transit label details are not ready. This includes scenarios such as:

  • Drivers being sent to site without specific items being referenced.
  • Dealing with return or RMA items.

How Does it Work?

When a Driver is picking up or collecting goods from a site, they can use the phone camera to scan the barcode, instantly adding the barcode details to the job.

Once the goods are delivered, either to the warehouse or to another customer site, the goods are scanned off, providing a complete record of the entire transaction.
